She was born in Székesfehérvár (Hungary) in 1932 and it was in this town where she graduated from what is known today as the Teleki Blanka Grammar School. In 1956 she obtained her degree from the Budapest University of Technology in the field of mechanical engineering and worked for 33 years as an engineer. She retired in 1987. She started painting at the age of 35, teaching herself. She attended painting courses and took part in the work of a number of groups of artists. She works exclusively on the basis of her own experiences and sketches made on location, it is for this reason that the motto of her exhibitions is “The way I saw it”. Her style is expressionist, figurative.
